It was only yesterday that we said he’d be back at the end of April (well, Efteling said that) but he turned up today!

Can’t say yet as to whether his eyes are working or not but we would imagine that that would have been dealt with. He is also a lot more colourful than he was before, and looks like he may be sitting a bit higher on that rock!
So nice to see one of the park’s icons back where he belongs. 🙂

whats interresting is that they are clearly planting new plants in FRONT of him. Maybe thats why te rock is higher, so guests can see him over the plants. Because in the real story, the rock is placed covered in forest, not with a large path on side ofcourse. 😉 i think it will look fab when the plants are full grown
