Of course, some things never change, but look, where is the House of the 5 Senses? You can also see rowing boats outside Fata Morgana; and do you remember when the Kinderspoor (pedal trains) were located near to the Laaf Village? Pardoes can be seen wandering around a lot in this video too, he’s changed quite a lot! The Laaf village looks very much the same as it does now, which is good and bad, as this is one of the areas we’d most like to see given a new lease of life! Oh and also, there are fireworks!

I remember this one. I played it many times on our vhs player. Different times! No internet, youtube, onlinesharing existed. It was extremely hard to shoot video back then. It was possible, but one had to carry a expensive shoebox size heavy vhs camera with them. That was the only way to have moving picture to enjoy and examine back home. So I did. I recall I got this video through renting a vhs camera in the park for a day. It surprisingly was on the videotape when I got back home! The imagery and tune are nested in my head forever!
It’s nice that you remember it! The music seemed a little wrong for the video but it is interesting to see what has and hasn’t changed. Do you still have the video that you took?
