Have you ever wondered what happens to all of those coins in the fountain with the big fish in the middle and the smaller fish swimming in circles around it?  The money actually goes to Save the Children each year, and yesterday, Bart de Boer and Little Red Riding Hood handed the money over to the Deputy Director of the charity.  

How much have Efteling visitors donated over the course of the year?  A whopping € 6,604.95!  Since the fountain was installed in 1985, the fountain has raised a massive € 166,859.00 for children in developing countries.

You could buy a lot of pancakes with that!
